Hi. I just want to tell you that we are so glad you’ve decided to join us on our journey. We are Stacy and Steve and we are about to become nomads traveling full-time in an RV. Full-time travel has always appealed to us and now that our kids are graduating high school sooner rather than later, we’re officially planning!
I am Stacy. I am a 38 year-old work at home mom. Most days, you can find me working on my main blog, Six Dollar Family. Over the past ten years, Six Dollar Family has helped me to build the life of our dreams for my daughter and I first and now, for Steve and I. I love to be in the kitchen cooking up something yummy, but enjoy being on the side of a lake with a fishing pole just as much. Traveling full-time has been a long time dream of mine since I was a young child.
He is Steve and he’s a 44-year-old US Air Force Veteran who deployed twice. These days he travels on his own (mostly) as an over the road truck driver hauling food. Ask him and he will tell you that I am his best fishing buddy and I would say the same. Steve discovered his love of the outdoors as a young child and that love carries over today. He is the hunter and farmer of our little family and can’t wait to take that love of all things naturewise on the road.
Together, we can not wait to buy our RV and hit the road! Until then, stay tuned though because there are lots of things to see, learn and of course, plan for!
